Craig Tizzer commented on the likelihood that the Australian will collect a career Grand Slam
Craig Tizzer, coach of world number one Ashleigh Barty, commented on the likelihood that the Australian will win the US Open and collect a career Grand Slam.
Tizzera quotes Tennis Majors:
“The US Open needs to change the ball for girls because they use a different ball for boys and girls.
And for Ashley, it’s a terrible ball. Last year, she had to change the strings to somehow control it. If they leave that ball, a tennis player like Ashley will never win the tournament.
I don’t know why they do it. This is the only tournament where guys and girls have different balls. And if the ball isn’t changed, she won’t win the US Open.”
Ashleigh Barty wins the Australian Open.
